Our Sugar Bush

Our maple syrup is handcrafted in small batches from our single source forest in the Central Sands Region of Wisconsin.

SugarBean's Maple Syrup began in 2023 by happenstance with 6 taps and a crash course in learning how to make maple syrup from beginning to end. After the first time, we were hooked!

2024 was 20 taps and hauling buckets in the rain, snow, and shine. We got our workout, and it was worth it! We continued to learn year-round and applied it to year two. You can definitely see the difference!

Our taste testers gave us the seal approval from 2024, so we decided to share the maple syrup joy with the world! We could not do what we do without the love, support, and engagement from our family, friends, and community. Especially those brave testers that tried it and came back for more!

2026 was a huge success. We continue to educate ourselves year-round, apply what we have learned, and expand our operation. The maple syrup community is nothing short of amazing. Our whole goal is to share our love of maple, educate others, and provide Grade A Premium maple syrup. You deserve the best!

    What's in a Name?

How did we get the name SugarBean's?

SugarBean's pays homage to our late, great, Queen of our home: ButterBean. She enjoyed the first two maple seasons with us. Bossed us a little, always curious, and stuck by our side collecting sap and boiling. She may have caught a few drops of maple syrup here and there. If you had the pleasure of knowing her, you know she will forever be the CEO of all things. It’s ButterBean’s world, and we’re just living in it.
